Have you tried Currency Fair? or other online brokers?
 
Thanks Ciaran. I use Currencyfair for sterling and its a terrific service. But don't you need a bank account in two countries/currencies in order to complete the transaction. One thing I notice is that you need to have an account say in AIB in order to get foreign excahnge from them now. Perhaps an anti-money laundering move but it restricts competition and allows banks to hike up fees and mug the customer once more:mad:.
