Best currency for incoming cheques from US?

Is it possible for somebody to outline the pros and cons on receiving cheques from the US in US dollars as opposed to Euro?

I.E Which would lose more money at the time of cashing the cheque relating to bank charges?

I hope I'm not being too vague, I want to know which currency would be best or is it unimportant? This is to do with Google Adsense btw.

Can't think of any reason to get it in dollars. The exchange rate a fairly good from google.

Thanks J. I was just thinking that if I got it in dollars I have control to wait for exchange rates to change in my favour etc. Otherwise google would do it at the rates at the time of process. But yes, maybe there's no point.

Also note that the euro cheque is draw on an Irish account.

Not sure about dollar one.

If drawn on Irish account the euro cheque will clear much faster - go for that I'd say.

With google, you should be able to get the funds DD into your bank account.
