I am about to go travelling for 6 months. Can anyone advise on Credit Card which has lowest charges for foreign exchange currency conversion & getting cash at ATM's using the Credit Card.
A friend of mine from NZ, is currently travelling & is using a pre-paid debit card - can't remember the name of the company, but I think it might be Cash Passport(I have no connection with this company). It allowed him to load his card with Euros and then he can withdraw it from ATMs in different countries. He also has a spare card in case the 1st card got stolen or 'swallowed' by an ATM. Not sure how the charges compare to Credit Cards though.
