Anyone taken advantage of these grants?

the scheme is still only at inception.

unfortunaltely BERs are not mandatory....

there is to be NO on site assessment that the work done by these contractors is up to scratch (or even EXISTS!!)

its a typical irish system where there is no proper checking of the standard of work... ever think this was designed by cival servants!!!

The SEI are currently recruiting contractors to be registered under the scheme to carry out the work - I spoke to them yesterday and they advised that they would be open to homeowners grant applications before the end of March.
