For what it's worth, I used Declan Diamond via www.bercertnearme.ie earlier this year and was very happy with the service and price (€200 all in including VAT at the time).

I used John Kiernan at jkiernan.ber <at> gmail.com and was quite happy. I was doing my BER post-solar install (June 2024) but with one eye on a potential heat pump installation. John was thorough, researched plenty of questions that I raised, and helped make sure I got the best potential BER/Heat Loss Indicator I could get by asking me lots of questions or by giving me alternative methods to prove insulation/heat loss values for different components of the building fabric.
