Health Insurance Benefits of using a broker

Hi so I have been putting health insurance on the long finger for awhile now but want to get some form of basic cover in place. I have been looking into some policies including using hia site comparison but with the amount of different policies I am finding it to be a minefield of information and hard to decipher which is best. I got a recent mailing from cornmarket and I am wondering is it worth using their services to get the best policy? Is there any other benefit to using such a broker such as discounted policies? I assume they charge a fee but no mention of it in the mailing they sent me.
If anyone has used them and would recommend them I'd be interested to know.

Alternatively if there are any suggestions on what policies I should consider that would be great. I am in my early thirties, don't require day to day cover - mostly looking for hospital cover to include private hospitals. Not sure about the benefits of including the hi-tech hospitals such as Mater hospital and Blackrock - is it worth paying extra to include these.

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
