Benefits after redundancy

My wife has been offered a good redundancy package. I know she can claim job seekers beneift after waiting 9 weeks, she can claim this for 12 months.
Then she can apply for job seekers allowance. I know this is means tested. What if anything would she get from job seekers allowance with the following household income and expenditure:
Married with 1 income of €40000
No other income
No savings
No Loans (thankfully cleared with redundancy package)
2 kids under 5 yrs of age

One of the frequent welfare/benefits posters will I'm sure have the definitive answer but I reckon with one spouse earning 40k there's no scope for Jobseekers allowance in that household... a year on JB should allow ample time to get something alternative sorted.
