Hi, I have a belling range which has an electric oven and gas hob. The gas hob works on bottled gas but i've noticed in the last few months the gas flame is low and one of the jets is not working. Can these be cleaned or is it just a case of replacing them? thanks

Have you lifter off the burner heads? you’d be amazed at the build up of food particles that gather under them. Nothing like a clean up and blowing episode to relight your fire.

The jets are made of sturdy brass and the hole is fairly large, so you can use something like a safety pin or paperclip to loosen whatever is blocking it, then either vacuum out the bits or if you turn on the gas it will often blow out the pieces (into your eyes if you're not careful!).
