BEH Energy grants

I applied for 750 grand for boiler for house I bought. I thought it was about 15 or so years old. Paid 3200 for boiler/ heater controls ...
750 minus for grant.

However it's seems house may only be 10/ 11 years old accorg8ng to BER CERT GUY.

So seems grant now refused.
New boiler no matter what year house is ..Is more efficient..
That's the idea of the grants !

Amy way to appeal this ,or get around a year that grant section picked as an appropriate year to cut off grants ,,,

Surely you just establish what year the house was built. What checks were carried out on planning when you bought it?
