Hi,

We're jsut starting a "bathroom project", we need to rid ourselves of a disastrous black and lime green coloured bathroom asap, and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas on what are the better bathroom showrooms around Dublin?

We want to start getting ideas on bathroom furniture including mirrors/handrails/showers etc and to make a decision on who to go with. Ideally we'll get someone in to do it all, ie all the little bits of wiring as well as the plumbing, tiling etc, rather than us having to get a different tradesman for each part so open to suggestions on this as well. All ideas welcome. We've tried H&V on Ballymount Road who seemed to have reasonably priced stuff.

Thanks in anticipation.

i came across this crowd on the internet, not sure if they're any good but their prices seem very low

no association.

I found H&V in walkinstown and finglas to have good showrooms:

I also think this place is worth a trip to get ideas:

I also found that buying directly from the showroom was way more expensive than buying directly from the plumber / installer. My wife and I renovated a bathroom earlier this year and picked out each of the items we wanted from the various showrooms we visited. We then made an inventory list and went to the many retailers to try to get the best price. Each time they came up with a better price than the other for exactly the same stuff by between 150 and 200 euros. We then asked our plumber to beat the best showroom price which he did by a further 350 euros.
