Barbeque Grill Material

Am in the process of building a barbeque- Brick and mortar job.

Almost finished but need to make a grill.

Looking for Steel Diamond Mesh (Strong and will last years) about 3 mill thick

Have rung a few places (fabricators/steel suppliers) but they only sell in sheets of 8x4. I only need a sheet 4 x 4. Does anyone know where I could try?

Scrappage yard?

Alterntively does anyone have any other suggestions what I could use?

Why not just but a grill in woodies or the like?

In hindsight probbaly should have but have the thing built now and the stuff in woodies is too small

Would they cut the 8 x 4 for you & would have a spare for when you need to replace it down the line

No. they wont cut it. Anywhere I have asked have refused point blank to cut it

do you not know someone with an angle grinder that can cut it for you

Cheap 5" Angle grinder in Woodies for €18.00. I used one for some fencing I needed to cut up.
