All companies use sponsorship to improve their image, so if we were to follow the author's logic then to be fair we'd have to apply the logic to all companies...

I doubt whether Clerkin cares about the issue in any case. It's a catchy headline that will get clicks and likes, the is the main thing, if he wants to get paid. I've gone of reading the IT for this reason - more and more of the articles are simply there to gain social media activity than to add any real value.
