Bank Account Type and Revenue

Does the Revenue care about what type of bank account you use to do business?

The girl in AIB insisted that I register for a Sole Trader bank account. I will be earning very little over the next year (nixers) and I do not want to be charged the ridiculous prices they charge for simple transactions.

Can't I create a personal account and do business on that? Any legal issues?
 
Revenue don't care once they get paid!

Anyone else? Can I just use a personal account?
 
Yes you can use a personal account but in my experience it becomes very messy when trying to sort out business expenses from personal ones.
