There's Kingspan, XtraTherm, QualTherm and so on. I've just been reading about another crowd called BallyTherm.

Anyone know if BallyTherm are any good?

It's made from PIR the same as kingspan and xtratherm, has the approprate certification, its a very simple product to produce so I can't see any problems.

If it's cheaper I would go ahead and buy it. If it's the same price I'd still go ahead and buy it to support an irish business rather than the other behemoths.

Maybe you can go and collect it from the factory and save a few further bobs.

We as a builder / developer use ballyterm, its the same as the rest only much more competitively priced.

Are you sure about a 50% saving, what were the rates you paid?

Seems to be different prices quoted around the country i have been quoted €34 for ballytherm and €32 for kingspan
