I know there are concerns about the security of Voip and there are some threadsd on the issue

I was wondering has anone used wwwbabble.com specifically

They seem to have an option of being able to set up a landline number that people can call you on

Does anyone have further information on it, the only way I can see to find out more info from their website is to register with them, and I am not doing that until I know what they are offering

I sign up but seemed I could not get started for some reason, have you tried SKYPE works good very cheap on international calls free from pc 2pc

I registered with them but not as a full user with the min deposit per month, I just deposit funds as and when I need to, havent had a problem since I started around last november. Babble is 1c a min to any landline in any country where they have a server, Skype is 1.7c. My advice would be if youre calling from pc to pc use skype, if calling a phone line then use babble.
