Association Judges of Ireland

This Association has reported as per media reports that take home pay of judges has fallen by a third. Could i suggest this learned association might consider applying for membership of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions who no doubt would readily support their efforts to maintain their financial rewards.

I am sure the judges believe they have a genuine grievance and perhaps they do. But they don't do themselves any favours by the way some of them behave, swanning around in theatrical costume and pontificating in a patronising way as they're the only people with an education.

That is the job description though.
The real issue with Judges is their pensions. What they get paid for the years they are on the bench is minor by comparison.

Though Judges should be well paid.
