Hi
I'm trying to help my father sell Glanbia shares to cover the ongoing cost of live-in care. I have tried to set up on an online account with a stockbroker but have a problem with photo id as both his passport and drivers licence are out of date (he is housebound and no longer drives). He has recently renewed his Public Services card but I cannot find any stockbroker that will accept this a valid photo ID.
I'm wondering if there is any other way for someone in his position to sell shares - surely there must be some workaround?
It will be very difficult to get his passport renewed as we need to get him out of the house, etc
