ASO Net Salary

I've been shortlisted for panal for role of Assistant Staff Officer with a County Council

The gross salary for this postion is € 28,388.00 per annum

Would anybody know what the net take home page per week for this salary would be

I have used Karle Garbe tax calculator at http://karlgrabe.com/TaxCalc/TaxCalc.html but it gives net figures just with PRSI and Tax deducted

I'm interested in net weekly figure after all deductions have been made includng

• PAYE
• PRSI(which for Co Co seems to be at different rates)
• Pension
• Union
• Health Care
• Any other deductions

Would anybody know?

According to the calculator:

Yearly take home pay. (Single)
Selected Tax year is 2007
Gross Take Home Pay = € 28388.0
Tax = € 2157.6
Take Home Pay after Tax = € 26230.4
Less PRSI = € 1439.12
Net take home pay = € 24791.281

Which would be c. €25K / 52 = €481 p.w.

However this does not account for some of the deductions that you mention and also assumes PRSI Class A1 and I'm not sure if you might be on another class.

To account for personal/AVC pension contributions made via payroll just deduct the total annual contributions from the original gross to get the gross assessable for tax and use that in the calculator.
