Ashbourne

Nice little town. Good shops but a little short on amenities for now. Getting better all the time tho. The new N2 is brilliant although commuting by car to Dublin city centre is still madness. The buses are decent.

Short on what amenities?
There's a bypass of the village, it has regular bus service to o'connoll street with a night link home for late nights out. Plenty of pubs, places to eat are fairly decent.
Some of the bigger retailers are, supervalu, dunnes, tesco, eason, boots, argos, and lifestyle. There's a library, gym and a kiddies park at the back of the apartments on the inner village ring road.
There's 3 primary schools and a secondary with ratoath also adding to theirs at the moment.

Plenty of amenities if you ask me.....

Bobo2006 by " a little short of amenities" what exactly do you mean ?
