Areas close to CIT, Cork?

Generally Bishopstown area is very quiet and residential. Look up street view on Google Maps. No problem areas close to CIT.
 
Wilton is also extremely close again.....houses may be little bit older though but settled area
 
What are you looking for ??? Young and vibrant with student population or more settled and expierenced !!!!!!!!!
 
The clue is in the 'nice and quiet' bit!;)

It's potentially somewhere to either rent or to get a B&B for a few nights a week for someone lecturing in CIT. He wouldnt be there at weekends but would need somewhere to overnight /stay during the week.

I was in UCC years ago myself but I don't know Cork very well anymore and I never really knew Bishopstown anyway.
