Deposits in Ulster Bank In Republic of Ireland are covered by the Deposit Guarantee scheme up to 100,00 Euro per person per credit institution. Ulster Bank in Northern Ireland is covered by the FSCS scheme up to 85000 GBP per person per credit institution. According to Wiki both are subidiaries of Nat West and part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Can someone please tell me if they (Ulster Bank ROI and Ulster Bank NI) are separate institutions for the purpose of deposit guarantee schemes.
