Hi,

I would like to get a professional to take a look around my house and give me ideas of which way would be the most cost effective to create more space. (I have a garage and large garden so have a number of different options to add more rooms).

What I would like to know is do architects/surveyors provide this type of service, where you can pay them for half an hour/one hour of their time?
We are not at the stage of doing plans yet - just want to get some feedback from an expert.

Any advice is welcome.
 
there is a professional architect who set up a company that examines your living space to maximise room. her name is angela and the site is www.livingroom.ie

I have no affiliation with the firm, I met her at a networking night and recommended her to a friend, who was very impressed with the service
 
I used a guy for a build in Louth and very good - Pm for details
 
expect 150 per hour. Bill appears if you decide not to proceed, or on your final bill if you do. Remember Architects charge 10% of estimated build cost if you proceed.
