Approx. price for flushing out gas central heating system with 5 rads.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could give me an approximate price to flush out gas central heating system with 5 rads. Some of the rads heating at top only and others only heating on front section of double rad or back only despite venting.

Am aware that the gas company [broken link removed] which seems very expensive.
 
The issue is it is unfortunate you only have 5 rads. The chemical dose is purchased in volumes of multiples of 10 rads so whether you have 5 or 10, the cost would be the same.

€599 seems a little saucy. We generally charge €450 including thermal image camera survey of the heating system & other people I know charge similarly.

Leo, I had tried the search option on AAM and Google and had still not come up with previous replies so thanks for finding those for me.
 
No problem. Often it's easier to use Google to search AAM, do this by using a search string like: 'price flushing central heating site:askaboutmoney.com'

Google will then only return results from the site specified.
