From what I can tell these two plans are nearly identical (minor differences in maternity benefits), except that on the new Level 1 Plan kids are free (no Levy even). I switched online today and my premium went from €1778 to €1120 for effectively the same cover (the difference relating to my geansaí lode of kids). Similar to VHI A & Quinn Essential except that the Aviva plans cover a private room in a public hospital.
