Anyone use 8A Smart Charger and Battery Maintainer

Hi all.
Anyone use a Ring 8A Smart Charger
and Battery Maintainer to maintain and charge their car battery.

Why don't you let the vehicle charge the battery as normal?

I came home after been away for a week and Battery was dead. I also have a camera in the car that runs the battery down.
Anyway bought the device and Battery working better then ever. New battery €200 due to stop start function on car.

Can be a good idea for a seldom used car with higher electrical load, but unnecessary for a car in regular use.

A battery going flat won't kill it to the point of no return unless it was approaching end of life anyway.
