anyone got recommendations for good digital photobook??

Hi
Looking for recommendations for a decent digital photobook.
Dont want to use the ususal kodak online or photobox ones, looking for something little more upmarket. Willing to spend a couple of hundred. Ideally a leatherbound or some type of decent cover on it.
Anyone any ideas?

You might run into a small problem if you're looking for books that cost in the hundreds - these companies tend to only deal with pro photographers. You could try someone like Blurb or www.hoffman.es - Blurb are typical coffee table type books, while Hoffman pages are rigid. I personally wouldn't use either for a pro job, but they're not bad having seen examples of both. Both are better quality than photobox, spectra books.
 
Never heard about these before. Sounds like a great idea. Have you tried some of the photography forums, on boards.ie or even OcUK?
 
I can highly recommend the hardback photobook from [broken link removed], I've bought a few from them now and they've all been superb quality, although obviously the outcome depends on the quality of the photos you send them. I'm not sure if you need to have Mac to get an Apple photobook - does anyone know? (I paid about E100 for an 80 page hardback Apple photobook).

PS I haven't used Shutterfly myself but I've heard good things about them.
 
This seems like a fantastic idea. Ordered the Hardback Version on www.foto.com & it cost 22 Euro (inc postage for a 20 page edition with around 40 photos included) They've an editor which places the photos once you've picked them or else you can do it yourself. I'll see how they come out.
 
I can see what the OP meant about something of higher quality. I got ours this morning. It looks fine, does the job. It's not top quality though. The pictures on the page aren't that sharp - the hardback cover is pretty plain. At the same time it would be a nice gift to give someone.
 
I think you have to consider other people might not be as picky as ourselves with these things.
