Any suggestions on how to raise 50k for investment?

I have just been given the opportunity to participate in what I see as a very interesting investment opportunity. I need 50k to invest. I will have to borrow the 50k. I was wondering would the bank give me the money - maybe as a topup loan? I have a mortgage of 96k and house value of 430k. Combined salaries of 100k. I will have 25k coming in from an SSIA in May. Should I use this money combined with a topup loan of 25k? I would prefer to raise the money from a loan. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
 
Your loan to value is fine. The lender will take into account your salary and also if they also see it as an 'interesting opportunity', mainly because they wouldn't want to put your PPR at risk in the case of a very speculative project.

Talk to a broker. You should be fine.
