Best Buy Any one here own a Nakamichi Shockwafe Wireless 11.2.6 soundbar or any other Nakamichi products?

Thinking about importing a Nakamichi Shockwafe Wireless 11.2.6 soundbar from US.

Do any one own any Nakamichi products here esp the Shockwafe Wireless 11.2.6 soundbar model?

The total price incl import fees + shipping will be 2000 euro plus. If this costly item gets any fault shipping it back to US would be a real pain. Any thoughts?

That particular product is getting good reviews. Nakamichi used to have a superb reputation in the 80ies and 90ies, but nowadays it is not particular better or worse than any other (particular Chinese-owned and build) premium brand out there.

Here's some feedback from avsforums which might be helpful.

https://shockwafe.nakamichi-usa.com/ Whether they can still be trusted... But funny thing is if they've learnt their lessons and say the bar say plays fairly low hz wise etc, then the funny thing is this will probably actually be better than the Dragon and cheaper

Personally wouldn't drop 2K dollars plus VAT and duties on a speaker system that I haven't been able to get a demo on, but YMMV.

I assume you are looking at buying via bhp (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?q=Shop-by-Brand-Nakamichi): their T&C says returns are your risk and costs until they receive the product.

Personally, I would not go down that route given Nakamichi doesn't seem to have a dedicated retailer in the EU. Too much hassle.
There are alternatives out there in similar price range that you can buy locally, ie EU
