Any issue with parents paying solicitors fees?

In process of buying a house. Have bought house purely with own funds but parents want to help me out a bit now I have it.

Is there any issue if they pay my solicitors fees. If they transfer funds directly to a solicitor that wouldn't be viewed as a gift would it?

A gift up to €3,000 per annum is dis regarded for tax purposes. That would be €3k from each parent.

Yes it absolutely would be a gift but as CremeEgg says above, unless it’s exorbitant fees it should fall within the annual exemption.
