Another Sole Trader Vs Company Question

Hi,

I am currently in PAYE employment and also do some work as a Sole Trader. My annual sole trader earnings will probably be around 20K
  • Is Sole Trader the best structure for this or should I set up a company?
  • What are ballpark costs for setting up a company?
  • What are ballpark costs for winding up a company?
  • Can anyone recommend an accountant/advisor for me in the Dublin area (Private Message would be great)
  • How much would an accountant/advisor charge me to go over my situation..would probably take about 1hr I guess
Any help would be appreciated..It would be great to hear from someone who has been in a similar situation

How much are your paye earnings? When you say sole trader earnings, I presume you mean 20k sales. In my opinion, it would not be worth the hassle and cost of setting up, keeping and winding up a company for just 20k sales.
