This is awful. I wonder about the other thead about the investment in social housing through loan notes. How many of theae type of investments are out there. They are like the new forestry investments.

Who is going to ban them? they are unregulated.

Dragons Den will be banned in Ireland because they are unregulated investments. :rolleyes:

What the Central Bank can and should do is ban regulated entities such as financial advisors from selling unregulated products. You will of course have people setting up separate companies, with similar names, one regulated, one unregulated.

Pensions should also be banned from holding unregulated products too.
