An Post Prohibited Items.

Hello.
Is it possible to send a smartphone with an integrated lithium-ion battery to another address in the Republic of Ireland using An Post, either standard or registered service. Their website does not give definitive information regarding this other than it would be prohibited if sending abroad.

Seems clear enough to me that you can't:

On further investigation it appears permissable if sent by either registered or express post. Anyways, I'll find out when I visit the post office.
