In leaving Cert year and i've come up with a great idea... to get a few books in French that interest me! Just wondering has anyone bought anything from Amazon.fr? And is there anywhere else I can buy a extensive range of books in french online?
 
I've bought books and DVDs with no problems from Amazon.fr. The prices are quoted 'HT' (hors taxe). They add on the cost of delivery to your purchases and then calculate the TVA on the cost of the books plus delivery.
 
I,too, have purchased online from Amazon.fr and have experienced no problems.:)
 
Thanks, i'll proably get a few books to save on shipping. I've shopped in FNAC before (in an actual store) but feel better with Amazon online.
 
The fnac.com shipping charges are very high. I have used www.amazon.fr several times and was happy. Amazon actually remembers your details across all stores, so far I've used .com .co.uk and .fr..

The free shipping to french addresses is good, shame we don't have an www.amazon.ie yet ;-)
 
Thanks all, i've placed an order for 5 books today, they should arrive in 10 days or so.
