Am I entitled to help with my Mortgage

Hi all...

I want to move back into my PPR. I`m in receipt of Illness and Im on a Fas Course for the next 21 months. The tenants in my house are in receipt of RA for my property.

Would I be allowed to apply for help with my mortgage through the SW? I had to move out because I couldnt pay my mortgage. I never thought about asking the SW for help before i moved out.

Any advise would be appreciated
 
You can apply for Mortgage Interest Supplement.

Entitlement will be based on your income plus any savings or other property you may have, the interest portion of your repayment, your ability to pay the mortgage when you took it out and whether there are arrears or not.

You can get more information and application forms from your local Community Welfare Officer.
