Am I being taxed correctly?

Is my monthly salary correct?

Gross pay €57,500

VHI paid €3049

VHI Child €460

Total benefit in kind €3509

Monthly pay slip

Gross pay 4791.67

PAYE 1323.51

USC 287.15

PRSI 204.83

Net pay: 2976.18

When I use tax calculator online it gives me a net pay of €3,148.


I’ve tried two different ones and they both bring me to at least €3,100 can any one advise?

My salary is the same each month , I do not get paid overtime etc.
 
I have PAYE tax credit of 1650 and Personal tax credit of 1650 on my payslip its says monthly cut off 2538.83
 
I am married but have always been taxed as single we never even informed the tax office we are married as husband earns over €60k, I haven't done anything with tax credit this year or last.
 
You should be getting a tax band of €33,800 this year at 20%.You are getting €30,466.What does your tax credit statement say about this?
 
€204.83 PRSI at 4% works out as a gross monthly salary of €5120.75.

Could this be something to do with the VHI BIK and tax relief at source?
 
thank you, I think a phone call to revenue is required to see what's going on. when I look online I can see both credits of 1650 applied.

I will update tomorrow when I talk to them.
