Can anybody give me the name of an Irish Supplier of AluClad Sliding Sash Windows?
I am getting a price from Marvin but I want to get a few more prices for comparison as well.
Do not pay Marvin their asking price even if you decide to go with them. They will drop a huge amount if you negociate with them and tell them that you are going with someone else. They quoted us €65K, but when they heard that we were about to order off another company they dropped their price to €45K. Heard another similar story off another couple we know.
Also ask them should a pane of Double Glazing get broken or the seal in the double glazed unit break down what is involved in replacing it - seemingly you have to get a complete new sash which takes aprox 8 weeks (just suppose its a few years down the line how do the match the colour as the original colour will have faded/aged)
