Alloys on A6

recently brought A6 back from UK. Great car etc. Just one problem. It is an s-line and has large 18'' alloys. Tyres are 255/35 ZR19 which are going to cost about 325 euros a tyre. Do a lot of driving and dont fancy paying 1300 euros for a set of tyres. Any ideas about putting different size alloys on car with smaller tyres? Would this affect set up of car? Could I sell the alloys on my car as they are in perfect condition? Where could I sell them? Any ideas?

Shop harder for tyres. They are not all €325 per corner. You can get good ones a lot cheaper. A 2 minute search found Dunlop [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]SP SPORT MAXX 255/35 R19 96Y XL with rim protection, for €255.50 per corner plus fitting.[/FONT]

255/35/19 must be hideous in terms of ride comfort.

If your alloy wheels are perfect, you'll be able to sell them readily enough.
