AIB- Standing Order Mandatory

Do all AIB's regular savings accounts have lodgements as Standing Order Mandatory.

I'm looking for a way to stop getting hit with the bank charges but don't have any thing to qualify for the "At least one debit transaction using AIB Phone & Internet Banking".

My phone, rent and esb all are standing order too so was looking to open up a savings account that I could throw a few euro into every few months to cover this.
Any ideas?

That condition only applies until the end of this month.
Then they are changing it so that you have to keep €2,500 minumum balance in your account at all times instead.

Oh ya sorry, thought that €2,500 minimum balance was an additional criteria.

Anyway the next charges will be coming out before the 25th so any idea how I could use one debit transaction using AIB Phone & Internet Banking before then to avoid the €20-30 charge?

Setup the savings account with the minimum monthly lodgement as the Standing Order, then topup with an additional manual transfer.

I have added a note to the regular saver best buys making it clearer that AIB allows 'manual top-ups' in addition to the mandatory standing order.
