I find this particularly irritating. My 12 months are up, but I'm missing most of the interest.

Paying interest once a year is very antiquated. Many modern deposit products pay interest daily or monthly, for example Trading212 pays daily.

You will probably not be able to add more than €1000 in a month,

You can add more than 1,000 EUR per month but you will not get paid the higher rate of interest on anything over 1,000 EUR unless your new balance is less than the threshold for the higher rate at that point in time.

I'm not seeing any way of closing the account.

Yes,I had noticed too that the option isn't there to close the Regular Saver, could always do it easily before.

However I only use an all-in-one computer for my banking.

Exactly, I remember it was simple to close it before as well. Looks like they’ve changed the process now.
