Hey All, out of the blue our direct debit for the mortgage this month was lower than normal reduced by some nearly e166.00.
No correspondence received. So of course I called to query, Seems mortgage account under investigation as part of Tracker Redress.
What should I expect to receive ? Read thru some of the AIB posts and its all very complicated.
I'll check what rate I'm on when I go home, but its standard variable rate.
We originally held a tracker way back in 2000 then sold and moved in 2004 ish, and we cant recall if that was tracker I had asked solicitor some time back but he wasnt bothered I do then remember a fixed term at some stage and I guess then wasnt put back on a tracker.
If I recall it may have been a three year fixed. Account is up to date etc not in negative equity or any arrears or missed payments etc. thankfully
Is best thing to just sit tight and await letter and go from there. Would contacting a solicitor once letters received be a worthwhile exercise (perhaps a different one then from 2004)
