AIB Finance mortgage one off payments

Can one off payments on AIB finance mortgages be paid in at any AIB branch or what's the position with them?
Also what happens re statements?

You can pay off extra payments if your mortgage is varible, tracker etc.
I get my statement once a year but you can see it online through internet banking.

I asked about overpaying over the internet but they said it can't be done because of the kind of account.

So I can either go into the branch and lounge the money from my current account into my mortgage account or I can set up a standing order.
 
Mine is a tracker & I am interested in paying a few thousand off the capital sum.
Can I just go into any AIB branch & do this?
 
Yes just go into your branch and lodge the money into your mortgage account. Make sure they know that it is an overpayment. You should be able to check your new balance online.
