I have a student current account with AIB and I often use the contactless feature where you can pay for items by just tapping your card. I used this twice which gave me a negative account balance of around €8 but I believe you can use this feature several times, spending a max of €15 each time , even if you have insufficient funds or a negative balance but you obviously need to put the money back into your account asap so they can take it. Can anyone clarify this?
