Affordable Housing and Marraige?

Has anyone got an affordable house on there own and then went on to get married? I have an affordable house myself and my boyfriend has recently proposed(delighted), does anyone know what effect marraige, if any, will have on my house? BF doesn't have a house btw and I have a child from a previous relationship.

Also I have asked my solicitor but he doesn't know, said he will try to find out of the local authority but they are not very forthcoming with answers at the best of time :?

Firstly, Congrats! How about trying your local TD? They might at least point you in the right direction... I've recently started bugging mine and its great, they're (generally) so willing to please, hoping they'll get your votes )
