Ah, that again. "I can't help dat, it's wat de system is sayin' ta me!"different items in the system.
It'd be a pretty poor system that has non-unique identifierscan't help dat, it's wat de system is sayin' ta me!"
That's encouraging.I fly weekly to the UK using preloaded passport card data in the AL app, and check in every time on the app, and have never had an issue. The passport number is the passport card number.
That's encouraging.
Do you know whether, having checked in on the app, you can then use the Express Bag Drop kiosk for your hold baggage?
Having read this thread, I'm already regretting getting my passport card, and I've only had it a few months....
Take a photo of your passport book and card and keep them on your phone just in case? The only way you might be caught out is the following:
1) You don't bring your passport book with you on an overseas trip and you don't know your passport number
2) You are flying back with Aer Lingus and try to check in while abroad.
