My husband wants to buy a used Mondeo. He has a 99 at the mo and has around 6k to spend. There are loads on the market and its hard to know what to go for. He has seen a petrol 04 zetec but it has 106k miles on the clock - it was a rep's car and has a full ford service history - garage is looking for 5.5k for it and he can then sell his own privately as the garage wont take trade in. Is the milage too high or would it be worth getting the younger car for this price. He bought his last car at the same garage and would trust the garage owner (as much as you can!!!).
Would he be better going for an older car with less mileage??? What year, mileage would you recommend with our budget and trade in. Thanks alot!!
