advice re 3 month investment

Could you please offer me some advice regarding an investment of €82K for a three month period - I need to invest this short-term for about 3 months (I will need to withdraw the total amount after this time)

Also, I will need to access up to 50% of said lump during this time.

I am not very au fait with rates, savings, etc.

Stick it in Northern Rock, best rates for a lump sum of this size plus you can have instant access.

€10K in Rabo and the rest in INBS FlexiSaver 21 (at 21 days notice) will give you 5% gross CAR on the lot and more than NR. See the Financial Best Buys forum for latest deposit rates. For such a short term and with access needed only demand or short term notice deposits are really suitable.

And if you lodge the max €75K in INBS FlexiSaver 21 then you probably need to have interest paid to an external account to avoid exceeding the maximum balance.
