Hi,
I'm starting out at property investing, I was wondering if anyone can provide advice or pointers on how to develop my investing skills so that I can:
- When structuring an investment what are the factors that will maxmize my investment return.
- Am I always better to put in as much captial as possible, to lower my mortgage repayments or could having a higher mortgage repayment reduce my income tax liability.
- If I'm looking to leverage the equity built up in my own home would I be better to use it to fund deposits on more than one property ( assuming I can get a mortgage secured against the property itself and that rental income would cover the mortgage ) or just use it to fund a single property in a country where I can't secure a mortgage ( eastern block etc ).
