Advice on a cannon camera

Hi
Just wondering has anyone any advice on which is better camera, Cannon Eos 40D or Cannon Eos 450D. had decided to get 40D but now there is a new one out 450D, so am stuck between the 2. if anyone has any advice on which is better overall it would be very welcome.

I checked out the difference between the the 40D and 400D some time back and the main difference turned out to the sensor size and the number of shots it can take per second. The 40D was the the time substantially more expensive. If you are looking for an entry level SLR the 450D is probably your best bet.

If your the point and shoot type the 400D or 450D (more expensive) is the one to go for.

Apart from a few technical differences, what sets the 450 apart from the 400 is the bigger lcd screen, 3" compared to 2.5" and the Live View Mode which means you can hold the camera away from your face, look at the lcd and take a picture. You can't do that with the 400D which freaks some peoople out.
