Hi, little help needed: wedding toast!! Buying our own and paying the corkage!

Best sparkling wines avl and best prices?? Looked at Rose/ Chardonnay Brut Hardys Crest vs Freixenet Cava Reserve .
All on offer at moment in Sainsburys in Newry.

The Jacob's creek stuff is nice enough, about €12 and widely available.

There's a Hardy's Nottage Hill Sparkling Chardonnay that's really good - not sure what price though, probably slightly more expensive than the Jacobs Creek

Lindauer a New Zealand Sparkling, made by Montana is lovely,available both in White and Rose, bit pricey here (about 16euro a bottle) but Tescos in NI would have it for about 8 stg. Check out M&S as well, they have some very nice sparkling wines and often have offers on them.

Well said, Irish Ferries do a Booze Cruise special (called something like a mini-cruise or something like that) for a car/cabin/2 passengers. Rosslare-Roscoff. Charles Volner Brut (though I prefer Demi sec myself) is about 4.36 a bottle !!! Very nice stuff.
