Advice how to clean up Decking e

hi there, I am wondering what the best and easiest way is to clean on decking area? I am sure it needs sanding and painting etc.. but now sure the easiest way to do it and with what products as its a big area.
Appreciate your help
 
I did mine in June and it hadn't been done in 2.5 yrs previous to that so it needed a good going over.

Firstly I powerhosed it. Be careful here.. If you go too close with the powerhose you will strip the old stain off it and your end result will be a bit blotchy...
Next I got a deck scrub... (Hard Bristle brush) and gave it a goos scrub with that to get a 'key' for the deck stain.
Next I let it dry until the next day, gave it a sweep with a soft bristle brush to get rid of any dust etc...
Finally I applied the first of 2 coats of stain.... I used a 4" brush so that it covered all of 1 board in 1 sweep..
Next day I applied the 2nd coat...
Job done... Not difficult at all.. Just needs a little bit of time and patience...
